Description: This street is one-way East/South, with a contraflow (North/West) bike lane. King County maintenance vehicles habitually park in the bike lane. This forces bicyclist to ride against traffic on the left side of the double-yellow line. Bicyclists have confronted county employees parking vehicles in the bike lane and requested that they not do so, but the vehicles continue to be parked there illegally.

Comments: This location also has "No Parking: Fire Lane" signs as well. Perhaps if the county doesn't care about bikes, they might care about the Fire Department?

I would like to inform you that we are going to place an "except bikes" sign above the "Do Not Enter" near the contra flow bike lane on Woodlawn Ave N. We will also be placing some no parking signs to prevent motor vehicles from parking in the bike lane. Thank you for notifying us of the signing needs at this location.
